Positions

Quantum Application Engineer — Qblox, Delft, Netherlands · Sep 2024
– Apr 2026
Product Owner for qblox-scheduler, the Python framework for hardware control and quantum-circuit compilation, plus three hardware projects. Hardware integration and performance verification in operating labs (superconducting transmons, spin qubits), technical interface between R&D and sales, and owner of the documentation’s application examples and tutorials.

Postdoctoral researcher — ONERA, the French Aerospace Lab,
Palaiseau · Sep 2023 – Aug 2024
Worked on a cold Rydberg atom platform for metrology; microwave field sensing using the Autler–Townes effect. Co-supervised PhD and MSc students.

Postdoctoral researcher — Institut d’Optique, Laboratoire Charles
Fabry, Palaiseau · Dec 2022 – Aug 2023
Continued the metastable-helium experiment: parametric pair production of collective excitations, and entanglement in a cold-atom analogue of cosmological preheating. Quantum-optics theory for interference of entangled states with large particle numbers, applied to metrological interferometry.

PhD candidate — Institut d’Optique, Laboratoire Charles Fabry,
Palaiseau · Sep 2019 – Dec 2022
Ultra-cold metastable-helium Bose–Einstein condensates: non-classical states, quantum nonlocality and Bell inequalities; Hong–Ou–Mandel interference and Bell inequality measurements. Ran and maintained the apparatus, its control electronics and its analysis software.

Pre-doctoral research year — Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen ·
Sep 2016 – Aug 2017
Quantum error correction: topological quantum memories, the effect of toric-code orientation and its statistical-mechanics interpretation. Numerics in C++.

Research internship — University of Newcastle, UK · Apr – Jul 2016
2D Bose–Einstein condensate dynamics; appearance and decay of Bogoliubov excitations at finite temperature. Stochastic simulations in Fortran.

Research internship — CEA Saclay · May – Jun 2015
Theoretical high-energy astroparticle physics: feasibility of supernova detection through atmospheric radioisotope rates.
